What is your opinion about recycling?

Our world is full of trash and we are not doing anything for improving this situation. The countries must introduce laws that will require people to recycle and reduce the plastic consumption because that affects our environment. It is true that Chile has been progressed in the matter with the ban of the use of plastic bags, but there's still some way to go in recycling.

What is your opinion about legalizing abortion in some cases?

I think the abortion must be legalized in all the cases because all women have the right to make their own decisions on their own lives. If we don't legalize the abortion, women will still die when having clandestine abortions and more lives will be lost. Personally I think I wouldn’t be able to have an abortion done, but this does not mean that I don’t respect the decision of women that will do it.

What is your opinion about killing stray dogs to prevent sanitary problems and animal over population?

Stray dogs are animals that don’t have any care and they are abused  (most part of the time) so they need people that help them not people who kill them.

Killing stray dogs is an inhumane activity and a very bad example of solving our problems. If we have a problem that we have caused ourselves, the solution can’t be killing them.

What is your opinion about the Chilean tradition called “mechoneo”?

I do not go along with this university tradition called “mechoneo”; I think it is a degrading activity and it must be removed of our country. This is a violent activity that sometimes brings a lot of problems among students. If the reason of this is to share with the new students and have a good time, definitely this is not the way to do it.  There are also other ways to share with the new students.
