Hello everybody,
today I will talk about my career and why I chose it.
When I was
child I wanted to be a doctor or a chef and I usually played that I could be
one. When I grew up I didn't care about the career, but in secondary school I
started to search possibilities for my future. I really didn't have any idea
about what I would be, so I made a lot of vocational test to find my vocation.
In this period I liked different careers like Geology, Occupational Therapy,
Nutrition, Medical Technology, Political Science, Social Work, Public
Administration and more.
In my last
year of secondary I decided (but not 100% decided) for Public Administration
because all I wanted (and I want) was help people and I thought that I could do
it from this job. All that I knew was the public administrators work in the government, now I know more.
In the
moment that I applied to the University my first option was Public
Administration, in Universidad de Chile because is one of the most prestigious
in the country, my second option was the same career but in other University (Universidad
de Santiago).
Now, that
I'm in the University, I don't regret about my choice because I like the career
and the job possibilities, there are so much. In a future I would like to work
in the health area (I want to be the director of Hospital de Rancagua) or maybe
job in international matters.

Oh, I would have never imagined that you liked careers like: Geology, Occupational Therapy, Nutrition and Medical Technology!
